Bad Bunny World’s Hottest Tour 2022

We had the pleasure of working with VMA artist of the year, Bad Bunny and his team, on his sold-out 2022 “World’s Hottest Tour”
For this monumental project we adopted the power of Epic’s Unreal Engine to harness it’s real-time rendering capabilities and parallel workflow. Our team crafted two captivating and crowd-inspiring visuals for his stadium sized screens.
Our brief for Dákiti was to take inspiration from Bad Bunny’s music video and take fans on a journey underwater through coral reefs, exotic sea-life and Atlantis inspired landscapes.
Crafting a believable world
We wanted to push Unreal Engine to it’s limits and produce something with a high level of fidelity and detail. Not only that, we wanted to push the narrative of the Mermaid character and develop a storyline to show off this magical ocean-scape.
Our character animation work was done in Maya, and we had the challenge of creating believable acting and movements of our Mermaid characters’ in their natural underwater world.
